Project - Nazar
Nazar is a story of a Daayan(a witch) who wants to take the city under her spell. Her magic lies in her braids. She can capture her victim or spread fire with her braids. She can do voodoo and Blackmagic to change the course of the destiny. When in rage her eyes get illuminated and she can drain the life-force from her victim.
For such a creepy character thought of using ink and paper theme to depict the eeriness and horror behind the drama. All the scenes are hand painted with ink. The ink flows are shot live on camera and then composited in software. following are some style frames. Please see the final video in the Showreel section.
Following are some of the production shots, where I got help from my colleague Sunta Kathiwada and camera man on the set. We have painted every ink flow by putting paper on table - recording and again replacing it with the new painting.

Project - Daadi Amma Daadi Amma Maan jao
We wanted to depict the banter between Grandparents within themselves and their grand daughters who are taking care of them. Therefore we chose dollhouse theme to convey the message of old people who are young at heart and mischievous.
Here I got to work with veteran actors like Mohan Joshi and Seema Biswas who were extemely helpful and patient during this process. We have to shoot all the characters separately with green screen to add CG of doll house to it. Following are some of the style frames. You can watch the video in Showreel section.
Following are some of the BTS scenes where we shot lead actors expression separately and matched it with separately shot youngsters (for quick actions and youthfulness). Then it is matched and composited over separately created 3d set of a doll house.

Project - Salute to the frontline workers
This project was to solute the frontline workers who put their life over duties to save the humanity during pandemic times. Here I thought of helping hand concept with all its tools ready to help others. I have used 2d designs and 3d models with toon rendering to convey the dedication and the sacrifice they went through.

Project - Imlie
It's a tale of a village girl whose course of life changes when she comes to the city to complete her dreams. Therefore chose to create a world with hand painted watercolour paintings which looks natural and sketchy.

Project - Namaha
It's a story about the friendship between lord Shiva and lord Vishnu who are responsible for creating or destroying the universe. Therefore thought of taking celestial route to show the grandness and power of the all mighty Gods.

A love story between Karna and Sangini depicted with the help of digital paintings and the flow of events.

Project - Divya - Drishti
Its a story of two sisters who has superpowers and how a witch is behind them to acquire those. Used dry brush effect and digital treatments on shoot images to depict the grunge and sequence of events.

Project - P.O.W
Style frames depicting the series of events about the two prisoners of war captured in Pakistan and their life after returning to their homeland by breaking the jail and crossing the borders. You can watch the video of this in the showreel section.
